Q: What are your rates or greens fees?  Do you have an afternoon or twilight rate?
A: Our rates are reduced for play Monday-Thursday each week (except on holidays).  Also we have reduced “Twilight” rates every afternoon.

Q: Tell me about your course.   Is it designed primarily for professionals, or the weekend golfer?
A:  King’s Creek Golf Club is an Arnold Palmer Signature Course, specifically designed to present a great experience for golfers of all abilities.  The course has five different tees for each hole, varying from the red “Forward” tees to the black “Palmer” tees.  Each set presents a different perspective of the hole, with the Forward tees requiring the least carry over any hazards.

Q: Are junior golfers allowed to drive golf carts?
A: All players (junior golfers included) must have a valid driver’s license to operate a cart.

Q: Do you have a senior rate?
A: On Monday through Thursday, a senior rate is available, where anyone 60 years of age (or over) may play 18 holes at the 9-hole rate.  However, KCGC also offers reduced twilight rates every day that are ideal for seniors.

Q: What is your replay policy?
A: Additional golf may be played on the same day at King’s Creek Golf Club for only a cart fee. To be extended the replay rate, players must play the same day based upon space availability. The replay fee is $10+tax for 9 holes, or $15+tax for 18 holes.

Q: Do you allow single players?
A: Yes, in most cases staff will pair single players with other incomplete groups.  Tee times are encouraged.

Q: Do you allow walking?
A:  Walking must be approved by clubhouse staff.  Usually, walking will be permitted on weekdays, and on weekend afternoons after 2:00pm November-February or after 3:30pm March-October.

Q: Do you provide pull carts for walkers?
A: No. A golf car is included in your green fee. Walkers are permitted with the permission of the clubhouse staff, but the green fees are the same as for riders. Walkers may bring their own pull cart. A light carry bag is recommended.

Q: What’s your dress code?
A: Collared Shirts Required for the entire facility at all times.  Please click on the link below for details on the Winter and Summer dress codes.

Q: Do you require soft spikes?
A: Yes.  Metal spikes are not permitted at any time.

Q: Do you have Bent Grass greens?
A: All of the KCGC greens have L93 Bent Grass.  We never need to over-seed the greens in the fall and winter.

Q: How far in advance can I book a tee time?
A: Members may book a tee time up to 14 days in advance.  Non-members may book a tee time up to 7 days in advance via a
    phone call or click on the link below.

Q: Are you allowed to play as a Five-Some?
A: No. Fivesomes are not permitted.

Q: Do you give rain checks?
A: Yes, for the standard rate for 9/18 holes.  However, no rainchecks are issued for Twilight play.

Q: What is the fee if someone would like to simply ride along and not play?
A: Golfers must notify the clubhouse staff if there is a non-player in the group.  However, there is no charge if the rider does not cause an extra cart to be used.  If the rider causes an extra cart for the group, then non-players will be charged a $10+tax rider fee for 9 holes, and $15+tax fee for 18 holes.

Q: Do you have rental clubs?
A: Yes.  The cost for renting clubs is $25+tax to rent the Tour Edge set and $40+tax to rent the Ping set.

Q: Do you have a driving range?
A: Yes, KCGC has both a driving range, and a practice putting green.  At the present time, practice on the driving range is limited to irons only, at a distance of up to 210 yards.  However, plans are in place to substantially expand the driving range and practice areas in June 2007.

Q: Are range balls included in the price of golf?
A: Yes, range balls are included in the green fee.  For those who wish to just practice, the cost for range balls is $3+tax for a bag of 20+ balls, and $8+tax for a bucket of 65+ balls.

Q: What type of payment do you accept?
A: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover Card, traveler’s checks, and cash.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?
A: Credit Cards (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover) are required to hold all tee times. The cancellation policy is 24 hours prior to tee time.  Failure to properly cancel tee times on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays will result in a late cancellation charge.

Q: Do you have a lot of water on your courses?
A: Scenic Rutherford Creek winds through the KCGC course, and comes into play on as many as 12 holes, depending upon the tees used.  When the creek crosses the fairway in front of tees, it may be generally carried with a shot of 20-80 yards.  There are also two small ponds which come into play on two holes.  

Q: Are you allowed to take carts off the paths?
A: In most cases you are allowed off the cart paths using the 90-degree rule. The primary reasons for "cart path only" are in cases of substantial rainfall or in the fall after the fairways are over-seeded.
